  1. Data Chat: Account/Client Rules

    New Feature
    Client Rules@2x

Teach Data Chat how your agency works — and how each client thinks.

Rules let you define how Data Chat behaves across every conversation. Set your tone of voice, preferred terminology, reporting conventions, and anything else your team would normally explain from scratch. Set it once, and every analyst on your team gets consistent, accurate answers without repeating context every time.

Account Rules apply across all clients — ideal for agency-wide standards like preferred metrics, reporting language, or output format.

Client Rules apply to a specific client — the nuances your team already knows but Data Chat needs to learn. For example:

"This client's ROAS calculation always includes offline conversion value from the store visits column."

    "Count conversions excluding phone calls."

"The fiscal year starts in April."

"Refer to the loyalty program as 'Rewards Club', not 'points program'."

"Never compare this client's performance to competitors by name."

"GA4 data before March 2024 used a different attribution model — always note this when referencing historical data."

The rule is set once. Every conversation starts with the context your team would otherwise have to explain from scratch.

    Where to set rules:

Account-wide rules: All Clients → Settings → Rules

    Client-specific rules: Select a client → Settings → Rules

  2. MCP: Nano Banana 2

    New Feature
    Nano Banana download@2x

Nano Banana 2 image generation is now available in Data Chat

Data Chat can now generate and edit images through a native Nano Banana 2 MCP integration, powered by Google's Gemini image model (gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview).

Ask Data Chat to create ad mockups, social media visuals, or product imagery directly within a client conversation. Generate a hero image for a campaign brief you've just discussed, create localized ad variations with rendered text in multiple languages, or mock up creative concepts based on a client's brand guidelines — all without leaving Data Chat.

Particularly powerful when combined with your analytics context. Spot a top-performing audience segment, then ask Data Chat to generate tailored ad creative for that demographic. Review campaign performance, then produce refreshed visuals for the next flight — in the same conversation where you analysed the data.

For best practices on prompting for generating images, check out Google’s prompt guide: https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/ai-machine-learning/ultimate-prompting-guide-for-nano-banana/

  7. Google Analytics 4 Admin MCP now available in Data Chat

    New Feature
    GA4 Admin MCP@2x

Data Chat can now audit your clients' GA4 setup directly through a native Google Analytics Admin MCP integration.

Ask Data Chat to review a client's GA4 configuration — check property settings, data streams, conversion events, custom dimensions and metrics, and Google Ads links — all without logging into the GA4 admin panel. Spot misconfigurations like missing conversion events, incorrect counting methods, wrong time zones, or unlinked Google Ads accounts in a single conversation.

For agencies managing multiple clients, this turns what used to be a manual, tab-heavy process into a quick conversation. Run an audit, identify tracking gaps, then combine it with the Google Slides MCP to generate a presentation of recommended changes ready to walk your client through.

Supports clients with multiple GA4 properties — Data Chat will show which property it audited and let you switch between them.
