You can now open Edit History from a report to see past versions, preview what changed, and restore an earlier layout if something went wrong.

Each version lists when it was saved and who made the edit. Open a report, then choose Edit History.

Connect a Google Cloud Platform account with BigQuery access, choose a project, dataset, and table, then pick which fields appear in reports and the Data Model. When you create or edit a theme to make your report in line with your brand, the live preview now covers more card types. This lets you see how charts, tables, text, images, and other cards pick up your colors, typography, and layout as you change the configuration, before you apply the theme to a report.

Analysis (Where An AI Agent creates your report narrative) now looks beyond your account data when it helps. It can search the web and list sources in a footer, uses a dynamic comparison period to check for trends, and respects the exact date range you pick, including partial months, instead of snapping to a full calendar month.

Web research with citations — Analysis can use web search and includes any references in a footer so claims are easy to check.

Clearer trend context — Narratives now use more dynamic date ranges for comparison, so if a metric looks unusual, it will use historic data to spot seasonality.

Any date range you choose — Generate analysis for the period you select, including mid-month start or end dates. Partial ranges are no longer expanded to the full calendar month.
